Our Response to Covid-19
As we continue to monitor state and local health and safety COVID‑19 guidelines and conditions, we're looking    forward to welcoming you back into the church. Our top priority remains keeping everyone safe and healthy.     Therefore, we have developed guidelines. Our guidelines are based on CDC recommendations and any mandates given by the Governor of Texas.
Service Times
We must practice social distancing. In order to do so, we have to limit the number of attendees at our services to no more than 75. For that reason, we have scheduled two services for your convenience. Our Sunday services times are 9:00am and 10:45am.
Our Bible study, Word Church Live, will continue to be aired on Facebook at 6pm every Wednesday.
4th Sundays will be Youth Sunday. Their services will start at 10:30am
Wear Masks
The Governor issued a mandate that is effective July 3, 2020 at 12:01pm: Masks must be worn at all public gatherings in Counties with more than 20 active Covid cases. Wharton County has 129 active cases so the mandate applies to us. For that reason, we request that if you are going to attend any one of the services that you wear a mask. The mask is to be worn at all times unless you are on stage singing or speaking.
Sanctuary Care Team
We must keep the building thoroughly sanitized. We have established a Sanctuary Care Team whose responsibility will be to sanitize the building in between the services. They will sanitize areas and objects that were frequently touched.
Minimize Contact
We are reducing the sharing of common spaces and contact. When you enter, the offering table will be in front of you where you will be able to pick up your communion cup (on Communion Sundays), your offering envelopes, and prayer request cards. There will be an offering box for you to deposit your offering and a prayer request box for you to deposit your prayer request. We have posted on restroom doors the maximum capacity. Please adhere to posted directives regarding capacity limits in confined areas (ex: sanctuary, restrooms, offices, audio/video spaces)
Maintain Safe Practices
MAINTAIN SAFE PRACTICES such as staying home if you are sick, and washing of hands frequently. We will have hand sanitizer for your use upon entry and exit of building.

Thank you for being flexible and faithful during this season of change and the days ahead! Keep speaking FAITH!!
