John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. [KING JAMES]
Transformation: To change in condition, nature, or character
Die( Greek: Apothnesko) – To die off, be dead, death, lie a dying, be slain
John 12:24 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains [just one grain; it never becomes more but lives] by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest. [AMPLIFIED]
To get to the life that is within a seed, the seed must go through a transformation process. That transformation begins when that seed is planted in the soil. If that seed is to become more, it must experience a change in its condition, nature, and character brought on by the elements of the soil. The seed is alive, but it must die to its current condition and allow the new abundant and fruitful life that is within to be brought forth. IT MUST GO THROUGH TRANSFORMATION, the process of change. YOUR LIFE IS THAT SEED. Just like with a natural seed in order to get to that fruitful life, you must be buried into the ground (the Word) turning ownership of your life over to the elements of the soil (principles of the Word).
Colossians 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. [KING JAMES]
Your life is hid with Christ in God. In order to get to that life, you must be planted in the Word and you must die. It said “except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die.” The seed is alive, but it is living by itself. To get to the life that is within the seed, the seed must die. This death is caused when the seed yields itself to the elements of the ground. This death is not a physical death. It is a yielding of your mind, will, and emotions to His Word. Aren’t you tired of handling this life by yourself? Aren’t you tired of living in fear, doubt, and uncertainty? GET PLANTED.
Before there is manifestation there must be a transformation. Once the seed is placed in the ground the elements of the soil go to work on that seed and the transformation process begins. The seed will not produce without going through change. The elements work together to draw forth what is within. It alters the structure of the seed. The seed begins to take on a different form. What is within begins to break forth and it continues its development until there is manifestation and your eyes can behold it. The same is true with you. At the moment of salvation, the dying process begins. Once you transfer the ownership of your life to God, His Word and His Spirit goes to work on you. They begin the process of making any alterations that are necessary so that what is within can be brought forth.
Philippians 2:12-13 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. [KING JAMES]
Death is painful, but in order for transformation to take place death is necessary. It is necessary because at the point of salvation your spirit is made alive, but your soul needs work. Your mind needs renewing. Your will needs to learn submission, and your emotions need discipline.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. [KING JAMES]
The Word has to work on you before it can work effectively through you. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things are passed away (the death of the seed) all things are become new (what is revealed: birthing). To live you must yield yourself to Him, the Word. When you speak of salvation, you only speak of eternal life. When God thinks of salvation, He sees you with Him in eternity and He sees you living a blessed prosperous and empowered life here on earth. You miss the good life that He has prearranged and made ready for you to live when you refuse to die (yield your soul to the Word). Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:31 “I die daily.” Jesus says in John 3:30 “He must increase, but I must decrease.” Jesus had to die and His transformation came after His death experience. His physical death and transformation represents the death and transformation you will experience in your soul (your mind, will, and emotions) when you yield to Him as Lord of your life.
He had a crown of thorns, nails in His hand, nails in His feet, and he was pierced in His side. All of that was painful, but it was necessary. Think of the pain you have suffered in your life. You are still breathing because it was not sent to destroy you or define you, but to refine you. It was sent to transform you. Transformation for Jesus took place in the grave. The grave is necessary. God is not as concerned about your trouble as He is about your transformation. When Jesus rose, He rose with a glorified body. The Glory of God was revealed in Him. His Glory shall be revealed in you after you go through your TRANSFORMATION.
Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. [KING JAMES]
